- The slab artwork, I think it came out really nice, and had lots of thought into its design. It was a real masterpiece i did with clay! It might not be much to a expert ceramics worker, but it is awesome to me.
- The slab box project, I overcame a lot of obstacles. One of my first obstacles was glueing the side box onto the slab box. The sides of the box was really thin, so i had to try and find a way to support the thin sides, I found a way and added extra clay to the sides when it was glued on.
- Both the slab and sphere project showed me becoming a clay artist. The slab project allowed me to try carving of clay for the first time. The sphere took it one step forward and let me carve on a spherical surface. Im learning more and more stuff with clay.
- Clay is the only thing im working with in ceramics, "sculpture" it said when i applied for this course, It's not saying I hate clay, just want something else to work with. Clay is very malleable, and easy to sculpt with, I want to try something new. One frustrating thing is all the clay buggers when I carve into clay, Its a pain to remove and there is a lot of them. Looking to the bright side of things, only working with clay allows for an expertise to grow.
PS: I don't know how to get rid of the 1.'s
